I’ve been thinking about Gun in the HFG arc when he went into TUI.

Since TUI is supposed to let someone fight at 100%, does that mean he was actually using all of his potential there? Like, was that his absolute max as a fighter?

Or is it more like he was just using 100% of what he had at that time, not his overall limit?

Because if TUI really means full output, then shouldn’t that version of Gun be his peak? That would mean he (and his TUI) can’t really get stronger than that later on.

But at the same time, if he keeps improving, wouldn’t his “100%” also go up?

So I’m kinda confused — was that Gun using his full potential, or just the strongest version of him so far?
