I am having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that I need accessible seating at concerts. I can walk for hours and only be sore but otherwise quite mobile (it’s the one exercise I can do). I can’t stand for very long though because my feet become numb / painful / prone to falls. I am very uncomfortable using the accessible seats because it’s not a visible disability and I know how wild people can be making assumptions about people using disabled parking if they don’t see them in a wheelchair. I’m also grappling with having to tell dates that our seats will be in the disabled section. But I’m at the point where it’s obvious I can’t stand long enough to go general admission.
How have some of you dealt with this issue? Coming to terms and moving past being worried about being judged?
