Which mattress brands with long sleep trial are people happy with?

Thinking about replacing my mattress since mine sleeps hot and I’ve been waking up with some back soreness. I’m a side sleeper so I want support but not something too firm.

I’ve been looking at brands with long sleep trials. Not sure how they hold up after a few weeks though. Anyone have experience with these trials or returns?

am i wrong for declining to train my replacement after being let go with two weeks notice

worked at the same company for four years. given two weeks notice last month that my role was being eliminated. same meeting where they told me, they asked if i'd spend those two weeks training whoever was taking over my responsibilities.

i said no.

not aggressively. just told them i'd wrap up my own projects, document what made sense to document, and hand over anything critical. but sitting down to actively train someone stepping into a role i was just told i no longer have felt like a step too far.

my manager seemed surprised. a couple of colleagues think i was being difficult. my take is that a company choosing to let someone go doesn't automatically get the added bonus of that person's full cooperation in replacing themselves.

i documented everything properly. nothing was left in a bad state. i just didn't spend my final two weeks personally onboarding my successor.

am i wrong for drawing that line?
