Urgent Notice
Yesterday an unknown guy dropped a Telegram link in a public group. I clicked it out of curiosity. I wish I hadn’t.
The guy pinned a post in the group. He is openly promising “exclusive AP videos.” The way he talks about them makes it obvious these are not videos anyone consented to have shared. They are private, intimate recordings of women being circulated without their knowledge or permission. This is revenge porn — the non-consensual leaking of someone’s most vulnerable moments for other people’s entertainment.
Every time a link like this is passed around, a real woman’s life is being ripped apart. She does not get to choose who sees her body. She does not get to decide when or how her privacy ends. Overnight her family can find out, her workplace can find out, people she has never met can save, screenshot, and keep trading her images. The fear, the humiliation, the feeling that she can never again feel safe in her own skin — that is the product being sold. These men do not care. For a few minutes of cheap thrill they are willing to destroy someone’s dignity, mental health, relationships, and future.
This is not a grey area. It is a crime.
In India, capturing, publishing or transmitting images of a person’s private area without consent is punishable under Section 66E of the IT Act (up to three years). Circulating sexually explicit material electronically is covered by Sections 67 and 67A (up to five years on first conviction, plus heavy fines). Recent government rules now require platforms to remove such content within 24 hours of a complaint. Consent given to record something inside a relationship does not give anyone the right to publish it later.
The picture above shows this person’s Telegram ID and name. If you have any information that can help the authorities identify him, report it through official channels — the National Cyber Crime Portal (cybercrime.gov.in)
Do not download the videos. Do not forward the link. Do not keep it “just to see.” Every extra share makes the victim’s situation worse. Report the channel to Telegram as well.
These people hide behind screens and treat other human beings as disposable content. They should not be allowed to do it in the open.
