My grandpa lives in Hawaii, and I’m visiting him in a couple of weeks. I want to put up an outdoor camera for him while I’m there.

He told me someone messed with his car at night recently, and right now he does not have a dash cam or any camera pointed at the driveway.

I’m trying to keep it simple. Something that can sit outside in heat, humidity, and rain without needing constant attention. I’d also rather avoid anything that locks basic recordings behind a monthly plan, since I don’t want him dealing with subscriptions or confusing app settings.

you ever notice how some earbuds just make workouts feel more annoying? i used to wear in ears at the gym, but they always felt kind of blocked. recently i started using open ear clip-on ones and wearing them for longer sessions actually felt comfy, didn’t really think about them much once they were on. i can still hear surrounding sound, which actually came in handy a few times during sets even when i'm lifting they just stay on without adjusting them all the time. so far, i’ve mostly been using them for lighter workouts or walking.
