I was banned from a subreddit (not a big deal, if they didn’t like my comments it’s in their right to do it) *but* the issue I had was one of the reasons listed for the ban is “multiple reports of harassment in DMs” and it was escalated to the admins.

The reason I have an issue with this is I don’t send DMs on here so how can a person report me for that? I thought a person has to receive a message to report it.

Were the mods just lying to me to try to scare me by escalation to admin? Or is there a way a person can report DMs without actually receiving them?
