LittleBig Planet is one of my top 5 most favorite Sony PlayStation franchises.
It's very important to me as it's a big part of my childhood. One could even call it a littlebig part of it, heheh.
Sadly i do not have much memories of it but i did enjoy the music, playing the first game with my brother, the two of us even got the collectors edition for LittleBig Planet 2, each. I even still have the Sackboy doll and the bookends.
I got the PSP and Vita games as well.
Basically the only LittleBig Planet games i didn't play were Karting and 3, the later because i went with XBox One over PS4 as i fell for the Sony hate bandwagon at the time. (Big mistake.)
I even remember that i got some off the LBP2 DLC still saved on my PS3, the Marvel pack, the Snow White and Cinderella costumes, even the Ape Escape Pippo Monkey costume, the first DLC i bought for the game. (I think.)
The games would always wow me with the innovation, i will always remember the cutscene before fighting the Negativitron.
I also enjoyed the LBP content in PlayStation All Stars. Dreamscape is my favorite stage due to how ingenious it is as a LittleBig Planet stage.
Even now, when i want to get back into old PlayStation, from the PS1 to the Vita eras, i still love the franchise as i am building up my gaming library for retro to 2010s PlayStation.
I don't know if i sold my LittleBig Planet games or if they're lost in my house somewhere, but if i did sold them then big mistake and regret on my part.
I also got into the fan revival for PlayStation Home and the LittleBig Planet content there i have fun and joy with as well.
PlayStation Home and LittleBig Planet are kinda similar to me in the sense that both games i loved during my childhood but i never knew how deep it all went until i became an adult and i wish i knew how much more there was when i was younger.
I wish i knew how deep the community made levels were but sadly i missed out on a lot by not really playing any of them, i doubt i even played one...
Now that brings us to today. I would love to experience what i missed out on now that i am back into the older eras of PlayStation, but sadly i can't, i would love to go back onto LBP 1 & 2 and play community levels. I can still play the campaigns at least but not the community levels...
Why? Because a guy named Ayee ruined it by getting hackers to take it all down...
I do not want anyone to go after the guy, and i know everyone here knows the story so there's nothing new i could add, but i gotta say that what he did, be it so gay people can't play them, or because he was addicted and didn't want to play anymore, or because he wanted a monopoly on the levels, or all of the above, no matter what those reasons he was only thinking for himself and not others and it really hurts that a big part of the franchise can not be experienced anymore because of one person's terrible behavior.
I hope the developers see this and now knowing the truth take legal action and restore the servers and levels, but i wonder how realistic that would be or if i'm hoping too much.
All i know is that as a Christian man i shouldn't hate the guy too much, but i can't wait to make it to God's Kingdom where the majority of the levels can be played.
Also, as a heads up, prepare for more truths to be revealed, truths about everything. We are living in the age of revelations so a lot of hidden truths will be known to the public about everything and it's going to be a wild ride.
Man, all i want is to go back in time and make my childhood better. Is that too much to ask?
