Visited this mall about a week ago to take photos for a video and thought I’d share a few of them here. The mall opened in 2005 and the only thing that’s changed since then is the closing of stores. I think there’s only 3 or 4 things left in there right now and that plus the frutiger metro or maybe y2k kind of architecture makes it a really neat experience. I used to love coming here as a kid too so I kind of wanted to capture some of that nostalgia but the shots of the inside of the abandoned stores give off a really creepy liminal space kind of vibe I think it’s really cool.
