New Rider - Is an Anthem still valid in 2026?

Hey y’all - I’m planning on getting my motorcycle license in the next month and have been really interested in an electric motorcycle. Mostly due to the convenience of no gas and easier storage in the winter.

I love what Ryvid is doing with their bikes and encouraging customization. It’s what makes them stand out (to me) in the current market. Maeving is the other company that has peaked my interest but since I am located in the USA - I’m not crazy about them based in the UK.

So here’s the concern:

Is Ryvid the way to go? I’ve been reading through the posts here and seeing common problems as well as concerns about customer service being less responsive as of late.
Including slow lead times to order replacement parts.

The last thing I want to do is drop $10k on something that will be a brick if there is no support in the next couple years. I do understand that’s part of the risk of new tech/companies. However, they just don’t seem to have much of a marketing presence in 2026 which doesn’t inspire confidence.

What’s the general feeling here? Would you take the plunge in 2026?

Thanks in advance!
