We buy PURINA pro plan salmon and rice, the sensitive skin and stomach one. This food is all one shape and color.

We buy it for our Golden Retriever because of allergy issues. Hot spots, ear infections, the whole deal.

The newest bag I opened seems to have different pieces mixed in, maybe a mess up during packing it? Either way, it’s a pretty big quality control issue and I’m worried it’ll cause an allergy flair.

We noticed dropsy on Sunday, and started kanaplex right away. We didn’t have epsom salts and methaline blue until Monday, and started the rest of the treatment then.

Following it exactly, except cut the methaline blue to one drop because it turned the water too blue. Is there anything else we can do to help him?

Before this, his water parameters are perfect. He’s been fin nipping. Ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 5. Tank is planted.

Mechanical filtration turned down to low. Tank is 78 degrees and 10 gallons
