Welcome again to Round 4 of the Formula Beam Three Championship here in Belasco! The race has been concluded and teams have now moved their equipment to Belgium for Round 5 in the FB3 Belgian Grand Prix at Benelux. We’ll be going through the highlights of last weekend race!
The start of the race went smoothly without any incidents and Mika Nakamura in the Durandal Racing FB3 car still in pole position. Lap 19, a battle between Marc Fischer in the Durandal and Henry Radford ended in a massive shunt. Marc Fischer was rammed in the back by Radford, causing Fischer to retire from the race while Radford also retired from the race due to a massive a spin out on the straight. More drivers retired from the race through hitting debris on the track, causing a huge three car crash. Last lap of the Belasco Grand Prix and Mika S. Nakamura takes home his first open-wheel victory in his rookie FB3 race! A huge win for the Durandal Racing FB3 Team and Mika!
Attention in the paddock is pointed towards Durandal Racing rookie FB3 driver Mika S. Nakamura who had an amazing performance and victory win in his debut race in the FB3 series. We interviewed Mika S. Nakamura on his amazing performance in his debut race and he told us that he’s been working really hard on improving his race craft which gave him the advantage in this race.
