Gold Subscription Cancelled

Hi all,

I subscribed to Deliveroo Gold in November 2025 for 1 year. Following the recent changes to the Gold subscription terms, I decided to cancel my subscription. My understanding was that cancelling would either:

  • stop the auto-renewal due in November 2026, or
  • entitle me to a pro-rata refund because of the change in terms.

However, after contacting Deliveroo support, they’ve told me that by cancelling I not only lost access to Gold immediately, but also became ineligible for any pro-rata refund related to the updated terms.

That doesn’t seem right to me. I expected the subscription to continue until November 2026, given it had already been paid for.

Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone have advice on how best to pursue compensation or challenge this?
