Does this look like a verruca, or corn? It's on the foot of a child and has been present for about a month. No tell tale black dots of a verruca. It's painful if squeezed from the sides, but not so much top down. It doesn't really show in the photos but beneath the small (1mm) surface lesion it looks like there's a larger (6mm) half-spherical void/hole beneath the skin.
