AIBU - Customers Need to do their own research on products?
Hello,
Bit of a question and also a vent at the same time.
I'm just a typical, minimum wage grunt who fills up the skincare area of a very busy store, 2 days a week.
Am I being unreasonable to expect customers to do their own research on what product they want and if it suits them?
I've had so many angry customers today because I don't have any recommendations for them.
Like ma'am, if I knew this much about skincare I wouldn't be working retail, I'd be a dermatologist or esthetician.
I don't know if we have a fragrance free, antibacterial body wash. You're the first person to ever ask and it's not something I've ever heard of.
I don't know what's good for dark spots. I know vitamin C can help but 🤷♀️
We also aren't allowed our phones on the shopfloor so I can't Google it.
