Hello SnowRunner community!

​As a huge fan from Poland, I’ve spent countless hours in the mud, but I feel like one specific region is missing from the game: the Bieszczady Mountains. It’s a place where time stands still, full of deep mud, thick fog, and haunting history.

​Here is my concept for a 4-map expansion: "Heart of the Carpathians".

​🌲 The Atmosphere

​Forget the sunny hills. Think dense fog (new mechanic!), abandoned wooden churches, and "Slavic wilderness" vibes. It’s moody, dark, and challenging.

​🗺️ The Maps

​Valley of Wolves: Deep forest logging trails and broken wooden bridges.

​Whispering Marshes: Peat bogs where winching is a nightmare.

​Raven Peaks: High-altitude rocky climbs with abandoned rail infrastructure.

​Ashen Borderlands: Flooded roads and Cold War-era military outposts.

​🚂 Special Signature Contract: "The Ghost of the Tracks"

​The ultimate endgame mission: Transporting a massive, rusted Steam Locomotive (Px48) to a mountain museum.

​It’s incredibly heavy and top-heavy.

​One wrong move on a mountain switchback and you’re flipping the trailer.

​Requires pre-repairing bridges and ramps before the haul.

​🏗️ New Mechanics & Cargo

​Charcoal Kilns (Retorty): A unique production loop. Deliver beech wood to forest kilns and export charcoal.

​Narrow-Gauge Rail Repair: Fixing the tracks unlocks a fuel delivery system across the region.

​🚛 New Trucks (Polish Icons)

​Jelcz 442: A modern 4x4 military beast.

​Star 266: The 6x6 "King of Mud" with insane suspension travel.

​Jelcz 300-series: A versatile heavy-duty classic.

​Tarpan Honker: A nimble scout for the tightest trails.

​I truly believe the Carpathians would bring a fresh, atmospheric challenge to SnowRunner. What do you guys think? Would you like to haul a locomotive through the Polish mud?
