Issues with Dell docks for some ThinkPad T16 Gen 4 AMD 16”
Got an annoying issue I'm trying to nail down. I have an office with about 30 users, 20 of which are developers and the rest administrative. We were a Dell shop until this year, when we decided to go with ThinkPad T16 Gen 4 AMD for our refresh. First batch that came in for the developers are all fine with existing Dell USB-C docking monitors and some Dell docking stations. About a month later we received the same models (with less RAM and SSD) for administrative use. Those units have constant issues with both docking stations & monitors.
Other than RAM amount and SSD size the ThinkPads are identical so I can't figure what's causing this. I assume a firmware or driver issue, but all machines are up to date in Vantage and WU etc. Any ideas?
