As you rush over to the professor, he would be waiting to greet you at the entrance with his own Partner Pokemon, a Rotom who would be zipping around you as you approached him "Welcome! I'm Professor Thorne, and-" he paused to realize it was you, oh Happy Birthday! I see you got your first Partner Pokémon, very good! I'm glad to see you're enjoying it so far" he'd say before rummaging through his coat pockets and grabbed 5 Empty Pokeballs and handed them to you.

"Huh..i could've sworn that the Watchdex around here somewhere.." Thorne says while still rummaging through his pockets "Oh Blast and Bother, it must still be at the Mart! Sorry for the inconvenience..but could you potentially grab the WatchDex from the Mart in Colaan City? It's just up north of us and Past Route 1" he'd ask you "Don't worry about returning to me to tell me you've obtained the gift, it's your present from all of us at the Lab!" He exclaims happily

"It's similar to the Normal Pokedex or the Phone Rotom, but while wearing it, you can also make Phone Calls to those who gave you their number and even transfer items to other Trainers!" He tells them before giving you his WatchDex Number "Now, i will say this, once you get 10 Dex Entries in your WatchDex, I'll transfer you a neat item through the watch!" He'd say before waving goodbye as you then headed towards Route 1

For those who grabbed 3 Starters: Professor Thorne would stop you before you went to route 1 "I've noticed you took 3 starters instead, did your mother not stop you?" He'd ask before explaining she wasn't home when you chose "..Ugh, that woman, always carried away with her work..fine, I'll let you keep all of them, just don't get carried away, most people won't take it as kindly as i did" he'd tell you before letting you head to route 1.

Route 1 had a couple of Normal Types, Bug Types, and a couple electric types as well, but while surveying what was ahead, there were also 2 Trainers North of the entrance to Colaan City. Will you:

- Option 1: Get a few Encounters then Go North(2 Rolls MAX can be used, but every encounter is 100% catch rate if you choose to catch it; Basically you get a free roll then afterwards, if you'd like, you can choose to waste a reroll to gain another encounter, you can run away to encounter another mon, but will cost a reroll)

- Option 2: Battle The Trainers Without an Encounter(No Encounter for this section, but you gain $50 per defeated trainer)

- Option 3: Battle the Trainers THEN encounter something(You Lose 1 reroll if you do this option, but gain $50 per defeated trainer)
