My entry to the club
Just picked up this 97 elite and have loved working on it. Had electrical issues but got it all sorted and the new carb has it running smoooooth.
It's just about ready to prep and paint, right now I'm thinking of a couple options.
Death Stranding Bridges/Blade Runner/Cyberpunk theme, leaning into the 80s retrofuturism. Mostly greyscale with interesting logos.
Studio Ghibli theme, make it kawaii af and bolt on cute stuff. I'd go eggshell base coat with hand painted characters/motivs from the films.
