Custom Jack Sparrow Compass that moves (doesn’t point north)
I wanted to share a project I’ve been working on for the past few months. Hopefully the mods will let it through because it keeps getting automatically filtered out. Basically the prop is designed from Captain Jack Sparrow’s compass model in Sea of Thieves. Its been 3d printed using “wood” filament using wood texture, and painted. Then the electronics are basically a stepper motor battery etc. with a gyro for detecting movement. It simply counteracts the gyroscope movement it doesnt point to a particular direction though it looks like it does. It has many modes and events it will randomly enter to make it look magical like it does in the movie, sometimes the compass gets confused and bounces all over the place. Im really happy with how it turned out and I have to know what you all think. Would you want one of these?
