Aurelian: The Musical
Hey guys I’m a songwriter/history nerd that doesn’t get to overlap the two very much but I am low key writing a musical about the crisis of the 3rd century. I think I want Aurelian as the protagonist and here is one of the three songs I have written.

What I’m looking for is mainly a few listeners it has clever lyrics. Also if you have any suggestions for interesting things about Aurelian or cool stuff about the crisis of the 3rd I want to hear those.
What I’m less interested in is criticism on my voice or piano playing. If this play gets written I would never in a million years sing any of the songs. Not my genre. Also I had a head cold that I almost put in quotation marks

New York Joke
So my buddy who’s like 65ish and from Jamaica Queens has some pretty good humor in general and funny stories from growing up quasi gang affiliated in NYC and he said they used to joke about the name Tony and said it originated from Ellis Island where they would stamp the men’s foreheads “To:NY”
**He said it with love and I hope it is perceived in that spirit but also want to know if this is a common joke I couldn’t find any reference of it in a film or book. This guy is a character and his been in prison, in gangs, homeless, so i am curious where he got it from. He has no clue where it originated from other than “maybe Jamaica queens”
