I did some gravel riding at the end of August in Vermont and Quebec and really enjoyed myself. So I put some GRC 1400s with 35mm tubeless Continentals (the widest the bike can take) and an ENVE SES AR handlebar on my Synapse, with Silca Nastro Cuscino tape—so cozy!

I haven’t had a bike with tires this wide in 30 years, and man, they’re comfortable. I had no idea.

Looking forward to doing some light off-road riding here in the Portland, OR area now.
