My husband could care less about the whole thing and made plans for us. He said we could reschedule but I know for sure he'll hold resentment and annoyance over it and I'm not sure it's worth the fight. I was looking forward to seeing it. 😞

This pattern was from the Crochet Magical Creatures book. I'm finding that sewing together all the parts is pretty difficult and looks sloppy but I think I'm getting better.
I've recently started working on creating amigurumi and I've noticed that some patterns call for a slip stitch and chain 1 for each round while other patterns do not. The first pattern I learned with did not and patterns that do are throwing me off. Can anyone explain why there's a difference and whether doing it one way is better than the other? Thanks in advance!
