My pop'n music "set-up" for PPSSPP Mobile

It includes: An accurate placement and recreation of the buttons (I hope so), and a replicated blurry old but "oh so retro" CRT monitor using a modified CRT Lottes port and using both built-in and custom shaders! (credit to the various people who made the custom shaders!) You can get a better look of the shaders if you download the image and look it at raw resolution.

What do you think?

POP'N DANCE (🎵 kwik flip)

Resorted to post here, the Bemani subreddit doesn't allow videos for some reason. The blurry quality is part of it's aesthetic, as it is in the same resolution as a classic GFDM BGA.

The moment I heard Candelavra in the new act I knew I had to check the subreddit for all that stuff again

If y'all hate it, can't you guys like, lower it's volume or mute them with the in-game mechanic from Clubbox anyways? Could've probably lowered it cuz, why not

UPDATE: In recent news, there has been a group of fans from Japan whose purpose is to find the whole pilot of the pop'n music anime series. As such, this is a hard job to do so, and have found a new screencap of the anime so far. Weirdly enough, the subtitles are in English unlike my screencap.

DID YOU KNOW: To promote pop'n music 7, Konami and Production I.G once produced a pop'n music anime scheduled to be aired at TV Asahi.

And while the test audience and critic reception of the pilot are positive, as said by artist Tomoko Shiono, it was pulled out and got scrapped by Konami themselves to avoid competition to a certain then-airing anime show based on another rhythm game about a rapping dog made by Sony and J.C Staff.

these two

The hair designs are based off on their Wonderland designs. Kinda my headcanon for what they look like without their braids lol

I held a suggestion where people request me an underused character that they want to appear on the recent pop'n music High Cheers, and I'll give them a new design alongside drawing them in the current art style!

I randomly picked three characters out of ten requests from these people with a roulette wheel. I additionally gave them their own songs from other BEMANI games that isn't on pop'n right now (although a remix of Butterfly did surface around on the series) and their own banner as well.

HOW THE HELL- I SOMEHOW MANAGED TO PASS DAIKENKAI ON NORMAL MODE WITHOUT MISSES

I was playing normally without seriousness but like I didn't expect to get a NO BAD, at all. This chart has given me several misses during the final stretch so it's worth talking about. Unfortunately I don't have a recording, but the later images prove my legitimate record.

My first LVL 26 song I have ever completed in my pop'n music history !!! I have improved quite a bit since the last post about my gameplay weeks ago.

My other previous scores in the beginning are those where I failed, just a quick note.

Reposted after I was addressed that the Celestials aren't Gods, cuz my original intention was these characters drawn here are Gods in their respective worlds.

Finding my favourite pop'n song in other BEMANI games feels like a gold mine. I am aware I didn't add REFLEC here, but 4 (or 5) games is enough for this mashup. All videos used here are from YT.

Plus! I also modified the touchcreen controls of PPSSPP and the key configurations for the games so that it resembles and feels like the actual arcade. This may or may not have caused me many times to get confused, even in 5 buttons sometimes lol. You can actually see me make some mistakes in the video as evidence. But it's still fun tho.
