Long time lurker - ready to start contacting companies for quotes and looking for tips

I’m after the Geely EX5 Inspire - approx $48k drive away

My employer isn’t locked to a specific provider, I’m free to shop around for the best price.

I have an offset account for my mortgage which I know plays a part in certain decision making - for example should I be looking to bundle anything into the NL at all? My understanding is that it may make sense to minimise all weekly costs in favour of parking the cash in my offset.

Which companies are more likely to offer the best rates, and is there a set of magic words to get the quote more in my favour?

Does the Geely EX5 have any real competition in its price range?

Read heaps of great things about the EX5. I sat in it, I drove it, and can’t find much if anything negative to say about it.

But before I go and sign on the dotted line - is there any other cars that can be recommended around the same price? (Sub $50k)

Sealion7 and Zeekr 7X are both beautiful cars and get good reviews but are a minimum of $10k more - and then you’re not getting the top trim like you get on the EX5 Inspire.

In the same vein, does anyone who owns or has some hours under their belt in an EX5 have anything negative to share / warn me about?

Advice for my behind-sink window frame

Looking for advice for how to fix this situation - I take it that sanding and painting will just be a bandaid solution?

I’m thinking that tiling would be the best solution but what would that likely set me back?
