The Battle For Boston App Update (v2.6.9)!

With Battle for Boston hitting shelves, the latest update for the Fallout Miniatures app has gone live, containing all content from the new rulebook plus a number of bug fixes.
Look out for v2.6.9* hitting Google Play and The App Store this weekend, or go use it now on the web at https://fallout.maloric.com. If you're already logged in, you may need to relog to see the new data, and don't forget that you need to have an active subscription for data beyond the Nuka World starter set.

  • Battle for Boston units are now available in Fallout: Factions for subscribers
  • Reach Campaign rules for the 3 new factions. Exclusive to the app first (coming soon as a pdf)
  • Scouting points tracker added to battle tracker for FF
  • Fixed missing/incorrect facility limits for some factions
  • The Beast and Programmed perks now correctly prevent you from taking any other perks (except Outsider)

There are also several improvements and bug fixes surrounding legends and hired help in the FF battle tracker:

  • Legends are now correctly added to your roster if they roll the appropriate result on the injury table and you pay the caps cost
  • You can no longer add more than one copy of the same legend to your crew
  • Legends are now sorted alphabetically in the add unit page
  • You can now preview and remove hired help and legends in the advantage spending page before battle
  • You can now print your crew PDF from the battle page, including hired help and legends

* v2.6.8 is already available on Google Play with most of the same changes, but there is a bug where not all the new locations are displayed, which is fixed in v2.6.9

Release Schedule Update

I’m afraid I have to open this Fallout Friday blog with some unfortunate news regarding our upcoming release schedule. Facing significant disruptions to shipping in general, due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, we have had to delay the Battle for Boston starter set to the end of July to account for the additional shipping time. Delays will also affect the plastic miniature sets and their corresponding dice sets on preorder.

As a direct effect of the delay to Battle for Boston and the Fallout: Miniatures, we have also had to make the difficult decision to push back the pre-orders and release for the new edition of Fallout: Wasteland Warfare, too. Pre-orders for Into the Wasteland will move from May to Q3, with both it and the Warbands starter set shipping in Q4. By launching the two starter sets together in the Q3 pre-order window, we can ensure everything is ready to ship to you.

Thanks for your understanding, and if you want a bit more information check out this month's Fallout Friday blog.
