I struggle immensely with shading still. I don't intuitively understand how dark something should be and/or how to shade things that are obscured by another object.

How does shading extremely dark areas work?

Need help with shading. Specifically the part under the arm. Doesn't look natural.

The other parts are quite terrible as well but the part under the arm is completely wrong. I just am too bad to.know how to fix it.

General tips on shading also appreciated.
