Help With Roses and Hydrangeas Please

I know these are not supposed to be container plants. They are only in these containers for a short time before I am tranferring them into my garden, and I chose the biggest pots with drainage I could find.

Each pot is bigger than the container they came in, and I bought all three plants last Saturday. I have them outside on my back deck, where they get morning and early afternoon sun, before my house blocks direct afternoon sun.

Please help me, are they showing signs of water issue/stress, or is this normal for these plants as their blooms fade? These are my first outdoor plants I have purchased, and I would like to be able to plant them and have them come back.

They are outside, but the one night it has dipped below frost temperatures this week I put them in our mud room. I water them when dry, and they are in a mixture of 70% potting soil, 30% perlite and orchid / pine bark. I live in a 6A zone.

All three pots have drainage holes. As I said, I plan to have them in the ground within a week, but just needed time to get the spots ready for them as I wanted to find a good spot that had sun light without scorching them (especially the hydrangeas).

The roses I typically set out for more direct sun, as I had read they like getting as much sun as possible.

I have not fertilized at all since buying them. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

My zz plant is spreading out, is this normal growth or is it not receiving enough light?

I check when the soil is dry by sticking my finger in, trying to get pretty deep to check for wetness, and water when it is dry deeper down.

It has a 3 part mixture of perlite, orchid/pine bark, and cactus potting soil miracle grow.

The room stays between 60-75° F and the humidity is average for a bedroom, I think last I checked it measures between 40-60% depending on the time of day and day, on the lower end with my AC running now.

I tried to show how it is near a window that faces north, with an accompanying grow light. I was of the believe they thrive with less light, hence why it is so far from the grow light/window. I do rotate it, I check the soil moisture every other day or so, but don't usually have to water more than once a week if that. The pot has plenty drainage holes.

No pests. The plant leaves and stems all look and feel healthy, I just am unsure if the leaves are too sparse because it has too much or too little light, or if this is normal growth. I want to make sure if there's any issues I correct them before it gets super etoliated lol.

Finished.

My fiance and I recently bought a home with a beautifully clovered front yard that has moss and these succulent looking plants in a portion of it that we want to protect and... Fish mint.

I tried pulling the fish mint individually but found it impossible to get the full roots for certain each time.

I want to keep this moss/succulent type plant mixture. Is there a way we can till/remove the whole area and replant the good plants?

I'd estimate the fish mint was accidentally planted last growing season, as it's only successfully popped up in about a 2 sq yd area.

In the last photo I tried to circle the plants I like in green, and the fish mint on red. I am also working on pulling the obvious weeds.

Any tips are appreciated, as well as identification of the non fish mint plants planted. Thank you much.
