I just got the hilton honors no annual fee card which got me silver status. So do I need to spend 6000 or 4500 on any purchase to get gold status?

When does hilton drop the extra bonuses in their credit card more specially the no annual fee card. Its currently sign up get 80,000 points after spending 2000. This seems to be the common deal. I seen 100,000 points in past.

In regards to the he 50 credit you get every quarter for hilton surpass credit card. Do you have to stay at the hilton hotel?

Or am I able to go to the hiton hotel and just eat dinner at the restaurant or buy food or something from the hilton.

We travel once a year and I am trying to justify getting this card. The 150 annual fee is off putting, the 50 credit every quarter is 200 a year which can off the annual fee.

What are other ways I can take advantage of the 50 credit?
