I read mixed opinions everywhere on the best ways to keep our chickens clean. Some sphynx websites say once a week or month baths, but other sphynx owners say once to twice a year.
I wipe her down with baby wipes when she lets me, and I also use a baby wipe to clean her ears and nails. Every month or so I swaddle her and use zymox + q tips to gently get into all of the cracks and crevices of her ears.
How often are you wiping your babies down, bathing them, cleaning ears/nails/etc? I feel like no matter what I do she never looks clean. She also just absolutely hates being cleaned.

We’ve had some crazy weather changes in the last week where I live and that’s usually what triggers my cold sores. I’m really good about not messing with them, I have valacyclovir and ibuprofen. But this swelling is making me look like Ducky from Land Before Time and it’s almost more embarrassing than when I get the ugly ones on my bottom lip.
