Baby duck embroidered on felt padding! Pattern from “Stumpwork Embroidery and 3D Stitching” by Megan Zaniewski

My first time using wire in embroidery! As I was doing each step in this I thought I was doing a horrible job and that I was gonna hate the end result. I think it’s inevitable when you’re staring too close to a project for hours 😂 I definitely made a lot of mistakes but overall proud of it.

The pattern is in Megan Zaniewski’s book ”Stumpwork Embroidery and Thread Painting” ☺️ I reached out to her for help with something and she got back to me and I just love that about supporting artists!

Now to find a cool frame for it!
