Hello, I appreciate there is a lot of info out there but honestly I’ve been reading about this stuff for years and keep losing focus before I I make a decision
Currently I use some £30 old JVC Bluetooth headphones and some £15 Sony wired ones for when the others run out of battery
Now the Sonys have broken and the battery is going on the JVCs
I just want to get the first step up the ladder to improve my listening experience without going crazy
I have an AM5 motherboard and an archer Ax3000 WiFi/bluetooth card. The Sony goes into the TV that I use as a monitor via my Nvidia 3070 hdmi
In a perfect world I have a pair of headphones that I can use with Bluetooth when I’m away from my desk but wire in when I want to sit and listen
Priority is music/movies/gaming. Budget is whatever is needed for a good bang for buck next step up
Looks/open back etc, not that important but I do like gadgets so would consider a desktop amp type thing. Just don’t want to spend too much or not enough
I DJ’d for years and never really disliked and of the headphones I used (Beyer/Senn/Technics/Somy)
Sometimes I play darts while I’m listening or game on a steering wheel so Bluetooth is probably essential
Thanks
