  • Stubble: 3 days
  • Brush: Omega #10081
  • Razors: Pearl hammer OC
  • Aftershave: Shavologist Yellow death

With the summer heat at its max, nothing beats the combo of Ittar and Citrusy notes. Hence, I had been on Majumua and Yellow Death. The major difference in using shaving soaps vs creams is soaps take more time and hence more prep and smoother glide and slickness during shaving as a result. Hair become kind of extra-soft. One tiny weeper with older Permasharp Stainless because I am still getting used to adjusting Hammer's heavier and thicker head. Alum sealed the weeper in a minute

A very nice and DFS though. So much joy out of Hammer I am getting. Yellow Death felt too strong, hence bought-off some ethyl alcohol from amazon to reduce the strong fragrance. And then some natural camphor from Patanjali (for cooling effect). Worked out excellent.

SOTD - Hammer Again

First of all ,the shaves have bee amazing since the day I got this razor. Pricey .. Yes .. but totally worth the money spent. It has excellent clamp, great feedback on the skin and perfect blade alignment. The feedback is like it is telling you:

  • now slide me like this
  • now change the angle like this please
  • move me on this curve like this

And it has only made my shaves great but it also taught me how to use other razors better. Because of what Hammer taught me using feedback, I am doing better shaves with Yaqi Katana

Stubble was 5 days. Ventoni king one bottle gone. So difficult to finish things in this hobby, only buy more and more =:o)

  • Stubble: 3 days
  • Brush: Yaqi Butterscotch Orange
  • Razors: Yaqi Katana on Pearl L55 handle
  • Soap: Captain Nemo's

After the chaos of last few weeks of constant office runs, this week was work from home. Hence grew 3 days stubble and in this extreme heat took out my Espresso soap. Slick, super smooth, milky creamy and shining lather it makes. Smells more like Melody Hai Chocolatty and less of coffee. Still excellent soap nonetheless. The fragrance took me to my childhood when with those 80s and 90s ads. While stretching the skin, the grip slipped a bit and gave me a tiny cut. Except that, what a DFS
