Has anyone who has done Postgraduate diploma in data science shed some light?
I come from health science, a completely non-tech background. I worked in medical field for 7 years and recently data science has triggered my interest. Started some self-studying (Google data analytics professional cert via Coursera, and SQL) but I want to follow it up with a proper qualification through PG Diploma in data science. Given my background, Wits, Regenesys, and STADIO are the three I can realistically get into.
Aiming to work as a data scientist in SA, for context, probably in healthcare industry because that's where I can probably leverage my experience. But open for any really.
If you are studying or have already graduated from one of these, I'd really appreciate hearing:
Did it actually lead to a job in data afterward for you and/or your classmates? When did you graduate?
Was the content relevant for the job, or did you have to supplement more elsewhere?
How do employers view these three relative to each other, if at all?
