It’s great to see progress
Bought our house two years ago at 22 years old, and this was the state of the backyard at the time.. over the last two years this is where we currently stand. I’ve failed, learned from it, and found what works. First tried hand tilling and seed and got little results, then overseeding in the fall and still wasn’t happy. The next year I tore everything up entirely and started fresh. New soil and seed, keeping up with fertilizer and watering, and overseeding in the fall as well ass trimming a ton of trees to let some light in. Very happy with where it’s at right now. That said, I’ve never limited our 100lb dogs from using this yard so that made it very difficult but it can be done!
