Best dance of the night, worst performance in asking for a number
Last Wednesday, I had one of the best nights in a while at De Helling, dancing to the absolute vibes that are BareJams.
For most of the evening, I was dancing next to a girl who seemed to have the exact same energy as me. We had some lovely small talk in between aggressively shaking whatever limbs still had energy left, and honestly, it was just really nice.
After the show, we hung around for a bit and had another nice conversation. So naturally, when the universe presented me with a perfectly reasonable opportunity to ask for her number, I decided to do absolutely nothing about it.
She went to the toilet, we were both pretty much running on fumes, and we called it a night.
Only afterwards did my brain decide to boot up and inform me that perhaps asking her for a coffee would've been a good idea.
So here I am, turning to Reddit because apparently dancing in front of strangers is easy, but asking one girl for her number is where I draw the line.
Any recommendations on how to increase my chances of bumping into her again? Or should I accept that my greatest love story might just be a shared BareJams set and some questionable decision-making?
TL;DR: Met a girl at De Helling last Wednesday while dancing to BareJams. Same energy, lovely conversations, great vibes. Forgot to ask for her number because apparently my social skills have a limited battery life. Now hoping you lovely Redditors can help me out
