I dont see how anyone can objectively say this is worse than UFC 5😂 and I did not like that game. The striking logic is better, the counters work better, controlling distance is very viable. Ragdoll KOs are VERY present. Now if you’re purely judging the game off flow state then I guess. But I think that’s a terrible way to judge a game based off a sole mechanic. Almost every fighter feeling different is an upgrade from the last game itself so again it’s really confusing me on how this game mechanically can be worse.

The only really BIG cons are stamina and how some of the models + stances are done. For example Izzy to me is garbage. His animations are unique but his stance just makes it unviable to enjoy. Overall, fact is this is an upgrade from the last game. A lot of things can be cleaned up but this is a good game

I’ve gotten questions about it and haven’t seen anyone really understand Brendan Allen’s flow state past the initial description but it is cracked. To even get in the flow state, all you have to do is land punches because he has the tank perk. Once you hit it in a sub, as the aggressor your stamina drain SLOWS on the struggle bar while the other speeds up.

He also has a secondary ability that basically acts as armor over the normal sub bar. Meaning if his bar is at 50% for example it regens in flow state plus with his defensive perks he’ll escape most subs in the state. As a grappler, that’s sounds more OP and scarier than striking ones 😭

Given how garbage UFC 5 was, I haven’t had this much fun since UFC 2 which surprisingly enough is what it feels like

Distance matters, fighters are unique, and clean play can win. The grappling being virtually the same is a huge negative plus some of the block breaking I’m seeing. But outside of that, idk how you play this and say it’s the same game(striking wise). I feel the risk and fear when missing a strike as well.

I understand everyone wants to play and possibly even help out others who don’t have a code. But EA took an extra step by locking the codes into whatever gamer tag was used so unless you guys are comfortable with giving people your account it’s not worth a ban before the game even drops.

Someone is gonna enter a random code, boot up and get sniped😭. Might not happen but given how precautious they were I think they’re gonna be on the hunt
