Anyone building custom tooling around Palo Alto firewalls?

I finally got around to spinning up a VM-Series in GCP (way easier than I expected with the marketplace image), and I've been using it as a sandbox to learn automation and test ideas.

I'm curious what kind of tools or side projects people have built around PAN-OS.

Things like:

  • custom EDL automation
  • log enrichment
  • dynamic address groups
  • API wrappers
  • Ansible playbooks
  • GlobalProtect utilities
  • Panorama automation

Mostly looking for inspiration. Would love to see what people are building.

Where to get mangoes for cheap?

Was curious where I can get mangoes for cheap, or even free?

I'm not sure about market rate, but I paid 24$ for 5 mangoes at the farmer's market. They were delicious but seemed pricey.

I've heard there's neighborhoods that couldn't get rid of their mangoes fast enough because of the excess amount their tree's produce.

Any ideas?

Some of the places that I frequent for recreational use I know are 100% vulnerable.

Think, gyms, coffee shops, even shared work spaces.

My LA Fitness can barely re-supply toilet paper, there is no way those AP's and infrastructure are up to date.

I know that's it's relatively easy to test if a locations Wi-Fi is vulnerable, and I was thinking...

If I went to these businesses and said

"hey, there's a super vulnerable "hack" that 95% of public Wi-Fi's are vulnerable to. Would you like me to test and remediate for you?"

For those unaware - https://www.kaspersky.com/blog/airsnitch-wi-fi-client-isolation-guest-network-vulnerability-and-mitigation/55597/

I'm a pretty sociable guy, but have never tried to market myself for services.

Thoughts?
