I made a DIY Bicep band for the Fitbit air. I modified a STL file I found on maker world. I think it’s the same one people have used for adding the pebble to a wristwatch.
The straps are just some cheap fitness straps I found on Amazon. Link: https://a.co/d/02hJHYbb
It is pretty comfortable but not perfect. I noticed the thicker/wider straps on my Amazfit Helio Strap are more comfortable because they distribute the tension on my arm better.
Max arm thickness it will fit is like 15in
Hey everyone, I’m looking to get some new daily trainers. I’m a total noob and still doing walk runs at the moment (Runna Beginner plan).
I’m in my 4th week so far and I’m enjoying it so I decided to get some new running shoes.
About me: 5’11, 170lbs male, size 11, no overpronation (AFAIK), no injuries, slightly active background.
Currently using some really beat up Hoka Arahi 5s. I’ve had these for like 5yrs as a walking shoe. They are pretty worn out but still comfortable enough for their current use. I usually run on a sandy concrete beach path and a bit worried about the wear on the tread.
I bought some Rebel v5 on sale at the Joes outlet for $68 (~$80 after tax and shipping) just wondering if this is a decent selection? I’m seeing so many mixed things about this shoe. Mainly for durability but I don’t think I run enough for it to be a concern.
I see the popularity for some adidas and Nike models but I can’t seem to find a good deal for those or they aren’t quite suited for my minimal use and experience.
Any input would be much appreciated and sorry to beat a dead horse.
