Not really happy with Nest Pod

I recently got the Nest Pod from the FIIO store on AliExpress. And... to be honest, it's quite disappointing. First of all, the case doesn't sit tight no matter what, there is always a gap between the parts on the upper side. Second, the included glass reduces a lot the responsiveness of the screen. At last, not really sure about all the bulk the case adds to this DAP. At the bottom, it looks quite clumsy. I'll stick to this case for now but once the glass loses all of its oleophobic quality, I'll be happy to ditch il altogether.

JM21 3GB vs 4GB

The JM21 that I grabbed almost a year and a half ago decided to develop a spicy pillow of a battery. With all the price increases for the gadgets, as well as having only recently received the Nest Pod case, I am not really willing to spend so much more on a new player, so I decided to get another JM21, but this time with 4 gigs of RAM.

During and after restoring the backups and picking up on my music library, I can already tell that I feel quite an upgrade; the battery life is better, but most importantly, keeping the apps in memory is so much better. It managed to keep the Poweramp scanning process running in the background with no effort while I was still sorting out other things in the file manager and the browser. If only FIIO had made this configuration available from day 1...
