Any tips for new starters?

Hi everyone I’m starting as a Barista Maestro next week, can anyone let me know if I’ll be paid for August or if I have to wait for end of September?😬

I’ve never done barista work before so if anyone can give me any tips or things I should know about the role that would be great!!!

What am I doing wrong with my water parameters?

This is my first tank, it’s a 27L cube intended for blue jelly Shrimp. It’s been cycling for a few weeks and the parameters are getting worse by the week. The first week my ammonia was lime green coloured, my nitrite/nitrate was clear, my pH was blue, now they all look like this. I know it’s normal to have fluctuating parameters at the start but I feel like I’m doing something wrong. I use Fluval Stratum plant substrate and have spider wood & an array of plants. I have a sponge filter, grow light on 8 hours a day, and also a heater (which isn’t currently in use as the UK heatwave is bringing my water temp up to 33°c) and also some bladder snails have recently appeared as well as these tiny tadpole looking things. My tank this past week has also had a horrific smell, so I did a 70% water change and the smell was back again by the morning, it has also had thick white film that looks like mould/spider webs on only my wood. I‘ve wanted Shrimp for 3 years now but feeling like I’ll never be able to add them at this rate :(
