Shong Sang Clarification
If my father's surname was Kharsati and he had passed away a few years ago. If I marry someone from the same surname, will it still be considered as Shong Sang?

I am Khasi M27 and curious about whether if I get to marry the eldest daughter of the house. Can she move in with me as I am my mother's only son and she has some medical issue, since there is no one to take care of her. I need to stay with her. Am I going against our tradition or custom? btw I respect my culture a lot. Please enlightened me if this is wrong.
