If there is one thing I could change about my skate lore bro

I've been skating street strictly for about 1.5 years now. Initially when I first started skating I thought it made sense to go to a park(s) and learn there. Obviously this is going to be different for everyone but looking back in hindsight I've realised that it actually held me back in many ways (ultimately it was me but you get what I mean). I met lifelong friends, learned and experienced many things but something wasn't clicking with park skating or the scene in general. So I started hitting downtown and saw instant improvement and haven't looked back, It's been nothing but freedom tbh. I'm saying this because I've seen people give up early or really struggle in certain environments. If you're new try a bunch of shit, explore your map more etc something will eventually click but don't be stagnate, do things for you and aim for improvement!
