Marvel’s “What If…?” on Vision Pro is still one of the most mind-blowing things I’ve experienced On Vision Pro!

I revisited Marvel’s “What If…? – An Immersive Story” on Apple Vision Pro and honestly… it still blows my mind how gorgeous and amazing this experience is!

I've been in vr and xr gaming for years but this was genuinely one of the first times I stopped feeling like I was “watching” or "playing" something and instead felt pulled inside the experience itself.

There’s a moment where the line between your physical space and the Marvel universe starts to disappear, and that’s when it clicked for me again (YES AGAIN LOL) why I’m so excited about spatial computing as a whole.

We talk a lot about XR needing “killer apps,” but experiences like this remind me the magic isn’t always about gameplay mechanics or resolution specs. Sometimes it’s just about presence(although those other aspects doesn't hurt :))

Huge respect to the developers at Marvel and ILM Immersive for the amount of work and creativity that clearly went into this. You can tell a lot of care was put into making it feel cinematic while still embracing mixed reality in a way that actually feels meaningful.

Curious if anyone else here has tried it recently and what your thoughts were after spending time with it again or for the first time?

Thrasher just got a pretty massive update on Vision Pro and the Remastered Edition is available TODAY🔥

The update adds:

• PSVR2 Sense controller support with haptics
• A new Play+ hard mode
• Time Trial mode + leaderboards
• More responsive controls
• Refreshed UI and onboarding
• A bunch of quality of life improvements and bug fixes from player feedback

This Is The Kind Of Post Launch Support Vision Pro Games Need👏🏾

What I appreciate most is that this doesn’t feel like a random update just to say “new version out now.” After playing for a bit , I genuinely feel like they listened to players and refined the experience!

For me its still one of the most visually wild and immersive things I’ve played on Vision Pro.

I would love to see developers update their games more like this on the platform! Shoutout to the developers who made it happen. Vision Pro needs more love!

So I finally tried the new update in Asobi Remote Play that adds live 2D to 3D spatial depth… and yeah, THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR!

It’s still a PlayStation Remote Play app at its core, but now the app can live convert the games you play from 2D-3D @ 1080p 30 0r 1080p 60.(like a spatial window). Not full native VR or anything, but enough separation between layers that it feels like you’re looking into the game instead of just at a flat screen.

What surprised me most is that it doesn’t require anything from the game itself. It just works thanks to some amazing developer wizardry done by the dev! Shoutout u/inchenzo!!

I’ve seen people talk about wanting this for years, especially in VR/XR spaces, and this is the first time I’ve personally felt like it’s actually usable and not just a gimmick.

Hard to show in videos too… it’s one of those “you have to try it” things.

The website for asobi has some great spatial pics and captures that if viewed in vision pro will allow you to see what it looks like! The Website Link Is Here - https://asobiapp.com/spatial-3d.html

Curious if anyone else here has tried it yet and what you think.
