I know I’ve seen some people mention the trade error. But I’ve also noticed that when I do get matched, it’s only to people that need ephemerals. I used to get matched to people that needed all sorts of cards, and I used to get 3 trades a day. Now it’s impossible to get 1. Anyone else having this problem too?
I don’t know if there are other military vets in this sub. But I’m struggling with believing this bipolar diagnosis. I’ve struggled with PTSD since my time in Afghanistan in 2014. But then, a few years ago (in my early 30s), I fell into a deep depression that lasted about 2 years as I tried therapy and multiple meds. SSRIs made everything worse - sleep got worse than what it typically was with my PTSD, restlessness, hearing voices at night, and having the feeling that a presence was behind me. While my psychiatrist and psychologist both say it’s bipolar after similarly bad reactions to 2 SSRIs, I struggle with believing it. No one in my family has it, and my family is relatively open about mental health stuff. I was also in my early 30s when I had a massive depressive episode, not in my 20s like it seems most people with bipolar have. Yes, I had low level depression here and there but that was situational due to a deployment and stressful shift work with drone operations and strikes. Most people in my squadron that I worked with experienced some level of low or burnout.
The diagnosis makes no sense. My brain keeps telling me —warning me—that I don’t have it. And these thoughts are all consuming - taking up a lot of my day. It’s so hard to keep taking my meds with these thoughts. It’s so hard to concentrate and work because the thoughts are so strong. Therapy has just devolved into me arguing with my psychologist over this. I don’t really know what I want to get out of this post. I think I just wanted to voice my thoughts to the universe instead of keeping them pent up.
I hope this isn’t a dumb question but I was wondering. Over time, will old ephemeral 9s (e.g., Valentines, Christmas, Halloween) lose value as fewer 1-8s for those same chapters become available for trading? Like if it’s hard to trade for 1-8, will people lose interest in finishing that chapter all together. Or as long as WeWard occasionally offers the ability to pay for vintage ephemeral packs, will that keep them valuable? Just pondering. 🤔
