Is a teacher allowed to show students in another years your final piece

So yet again my art teacher is being questionable and I've just found out that she showed a class of yr 8s my friend's final piece like finished canvas final piece. My friend isn't super upset about it but did not give permission for her to do this and I personally am worried she will show people mine which is quite personal to me. I just wanted to know if she's allowed to show people final pieces before they've been marked because she wouldn't let me show other people mine or take pictures of it which obviously I get but then she's going and showing people my friend's work without her permission.

Context: So basically my school keeps animals because we are a rural school and we offer animal care as a btech so obviously I know the laws and anyone in my class would. Most of my lunchtimes are spent with the animals and have been since my early year 9 so about three years, and obviously I'm very emotionally attached to all the animals we keep now in the last maybe year we've been increasing in animals quite a bit so now we have 2 sheep 2 goats somewhere between 10-20 chickens I think 18, we used to have ducks, a hamster, *a*guinea pig *a* rabbit, so as you can see there's a lot of animals but in the past month or so we've had a rapid decrease and not because we've sold them, no, over half-term some idiot left the duck pen open and they all escaped and likely all died, on Friday and over the weekend we lost three animals and honestly finding out today I'm pissed and I'm upset. I raised two chickens from the egg last year and they started laying a couple months ago and on Friday someone forgot to count them in properly and one of the chickens, my chicken that I hand reared, was left out and has now disappeared, also likely dead, during a class where other non btech students of younger years are allowed to interact with the animals, a chicken died, this particular chicken was rather sickly and prone to becoming ill, I knew she would die fairly soon but I at least thought we had another month, no on Friday she died and under unclear circumstances. On Saturday the rabbit died I don't yet know how but I'm heartbroken over all these animals. Imo these deaths were at least predictable at best preventable, and because of the lack of care and the slight air of negligence, three animals have died in two days, quite frankly there's so much I could say about the concerning state of the animal care in my school but this is the breaking point, I suggested to the man that kind of takes care of these animals, but he wasn't there for any of these it was a different teacher, to report but he said he can't bypass the animal care teacher and he doesn't want to just complain all the time so honestly I'm debating doing it myself, I am about to leave school in a couple months but I can't leave knowing I could have helped and then didn't, honestly if I get a negative response from my head teacher I'm tempted to point out that these go against the 2006 animal welfare act

Tldr: my school doesn't care for the animals enough and it's caused In my opinion partially preventable deaths of animals, should I complain to head teacher
