super anxious about first gyno visit :/

hi redditors! i'm asking here because i'm not sure where else to ask.

i'm (F23) going to the gyno for the first time tomorrow and i'm TERRIFIED. to the point i've been having nightmares about it the past few nights.

i'm expecting to get a pap smear. i have a bit of pain with any insertion, including tampons, so i'm worried about that. has anyone here askes for a smaller/kids sized speculum before? do i need a pap smear if i'm a lesbian and only ever been with one girl (who has also only been with me)

additionally, what should i expect? will the dr/nurse come in and talk to me/ask questions before i get undressed? do i take my top/bra off too? should i bring a pad or panty liner incase i bleed after? ... should i take extra anxiety meds tomorrow? LMAO. (i'm prescribed xanax in addition to my other normal medication for anxiety. xanax is for emergencies, but ive only ever taken them once.)

THANK YOU!

i'm also particularly nervous to mention my pain with insertion because im a lesbian and that feels like a punchline waiting to happen lol

Anyone attend the 2025 draft?

Hi! I'll be attending the 2026 pwhl draft in detroit and just wondering what to expect, as I haven't seen much from people who went last year.

If you went last year, were current players present? How long did it go? How many rounds? Im assuming it'll be less rounds or longer this year with 4 new teams but IDK.

buspar + alcohol

i've been on 10mg buspar 2x a day (7:30 am / 7:30 pm) for a few weeks. i had a glass of wine around 4:30 pm. i don't really drink and i'm especially weary about drinking on medications.

is it okay to take my nornal 10mg tonight at 7:30?

does anyone else get extremely tired after taking their dose?

im on week 4 of taking 10mg twice a day, and every time i take my dose, i get extremely tired where i genuinely cannot keep my eyes open/can't focus/etc.

i've tried buspar with and without food and it doesnt seem to make much of a difference. the fatigue lasts for about an hour, and starts within 15 mins of taking my dose. i haven't had this side effect the entire time but its definitely gotten worse the longer ive been on. its getting to the point where i have to lay down immediately after.

will i be fine? i usually take 10mg twice a day. so if i took a double dose thats 20mg all at once/30mg total today. shoild i skip tonights?
