First time getting ghosted before a hookup :)
(23 male here to vent out) so yeah, the title pretty much speaks for itself. I've actually downloaded grindr super recently, like two/three weeks ago, and despite not being totally new to the world of "dating" apps I still have to learn some stuff. The first hookups went well, so of course it was only a matter of time before I met the one who blocked me and disappeared, seconds after his last message, while I was waiting in the square like an idiot. Ok, at least I managed to meet with another guy last second hehe, but I'm genuinely baffled at how can someone be such an asshole. I don't want to act like a moralist, I know that sometimes ghosting is that much easier and I've ghosted some people myself during the talking stage, despite promising myself multiple times to be comunicative rather than just disappearing... But vanishing and blocking you minutes before the supposed date, knowing damn well that I'm already there waiting, is something else entirely imo (and afaik rather common). How can someone be so cruel, come on?? Sooo yeah that's pretty much it, I just wanted to get this off of my chest people, thanks for the attention 🫶
