I’ve been dealing with a weird issue with the Arturia Software Center for a while now.

Normally, ASC updates completely fail for me. But I discovered something strange:

1. Download and open Windscribe
2. Connect to a server in France
3. Open Arturia Software Center
4. Suddenly all downloads and updates work perfectly fast

The difference is immediate. Without the VPN, ASC struggles badly. With a French VPN, everything downloads at full speed.

So now I’m wondering:

• Is ASC region-locked somehow?
• Are their CDN servers only optimized for France/Europe?
• Could this be an ISP routing issue?
• Has anyone outside France experienced this?

I’ve tested this multiple times and it’s consistently reproducible.

What makes this even more frustrating is that Arturia’s support pages are basically useless for this issue. Most of the advice is generic “reinstall ASC” or “check your connection” troubleshooting, while the VPN workaround clearly points to some kind of routing or regional server problem.
