Anyone with patapon na instruments?

Hello, sino may mga patapon na instruments diyan? I’m so passionate about music talaga. Kahit anong musical instrument, gusto kong i-try. I’ve been wanting to buy the cheapest keyboard and violin sa tiktok or orange app. I wanted to buy ‘yung 81 keys na keyboard kasi gusto ko matuto kagad without limitations. Naka ipon na ‘ko ng almost 1,500 kaso pasukan na haha meed bumili ng school necessities. As of now, guitar ang tinutugtog ko. Sinasabayan ko na rin ng iba pang mga hobbies. 16 palang ako, kaya gusto ko nang matuto habang bata pa🥹🥹

Why choose international brands when local brands offer better specs at a similar price? (Acoustic guitar)

Usual starting price ng international brands I think somewhere sa 10k php. Sa price point na ganyan sa local brands solid tops (or all solid sometimes), good tone woods, stainless steel frets, baka may unique design,Bone nut or saddle (sometimes synthetic).

Ung mga fender, cort,Ibanez,Yamaha mga 15-30k php mga ganun specs (rough estimate 🥲).

FYI Hindi ko sinasabi na mapangit ung international brands compared a local, curious lng:P.

Also I'm not sure pag accurate ung price to spec ratio ko bat ma gets nyo naman I think😭

Looking for drummer: Influence Movements, Turnover, Balance and Composure, Title Fight, Citizen

Hi, my band is looking for a drummer based in QC, Makati, or any part ng Metro Manila.

We’re looking for a drummer na influence ay Turnover, Movements, Balance and Composure, Foo Fighters and the likes. 25 and up sana coz we are late 20s working titos na who want to continue writing for an album.

Let’s try to jam muna if tingin natin fit at magkakavibe. Kumbaga vibe check lang muna para no pressure din both sides.

We have songs done na and we have a lot of demos na pwede nang i-arrange.

I can send the jam songs + plus originals na pwede natin tugtugin sa jam.

Let me know if youre interested. Serious muna tulungan nyo na kami. Wala kami mahanap na drummer haha.

where can i find accurate tabs of this song?

me and my band are going to play Bawat Piyesa by Munimuni tommorow and I'm trying to learn the tabs instead of improvising (cuz it's kinda 💩)?? i learned the early lead parts on the live performance of the band on wish bus cuz i have perfect pitch but on the 2nd verse the lead is overshadowed by the other instruments so I'm having a hard time. pls send sites🙏

Fender has gone full corporate

Short context: Fender has been sending cease and desist orders to Guitar builders worldwide that produce Strat style guitars arguing that they own the rights to the Strat style body.

From a business perspective, I get it. They're a big company. As a Guitar player, I absolutely love than everyone's taking a stand against it.

Side note: I've been gushing over the Ligaya Lightning Kid lol

Electric Piano Recos for a Non-Beginner?

Been playing piano/keyboard for like more than 8 years sa church but never really had my own cuz I like playing guitar at home. Di naman ako masyado magaling talaga coz I only play church songs and pop songs. I don't think I'll go into classical in the future (I have a poor internal rhythm and hand coordination! lol). Tho I love Jazz/Soul and Funky R&B.

Asking for recos po! 61 key is okay coz 88-key I think is more complicated to set up and takaw sa space. Something na madaling hugutin ocassionally whenever I want to play. Preferrably semi-weighted and digital so I can connect sa laptop.

Budget is 6k to 8k max coz for hobby lang talaga siya, I just want to sing and practice and develop relative pitch HAHAHA. Pwede naman mastretch but ayoko lang gumastos nang malaki kasi baka tamarin din ako gamitin in the future huhu tas matambak lang.

I use a Yamaha PSR e463 sa church so maybe something like that na budget friendly???

singular pedals or multi effects pedal?

Hello! I'm not a musician but my boyfriend is.

I need help to figure out what to give him for our upcoming anniversary next month. My budget is 2,000 to 4,000 PHP.

He's relatively new to owning an e-guitar, and he got his just this January. Despite being just recently owning an e-guitar he's actually quite skilled in playing as he would just borrow from his friends or other people whenever he played the e-guitar in gigs. With that, I feel like he also has 0 idea what else to buy for his guitar. It's probably also cause he's a really frugal guy and would think that if it works right now then it's fine for now. And I know him. He's the type of guy to jump from genre to genre (and right now he wants to try shoegaze) but an eguitar and an amplifier could only do so much...

We talked about the pedals before and he told me that he really wants to get a chorus, reverb, delay, and distort pedals.

But from what I've seen is that each costs 500 to 700 each, and of course the expense doesn't end at just the pedals. I want to give him something complete that he'd just plug and play so I'll also be considering the power supply, cables, and etc.

(IDK what else is there to buy, my research is limited and i don't understand a lot of what i search...)

Then I heard of a multi-effects pedal, I haven't done much research about it (IDK if it needs the other equipment like singular pedals do) but it looks like an easier and cheaper way rather than buying the 4 singular pedals and its other equipment... I did ask my boyfriend about it if he knows how to use one and he doesn't know how to daw so I'm very lost....

So now these are my general inquiry:

  1. Should I buy the 4 singular pedals (from Do-Re-Mi music shop in Shopee) and the other equipment?
  2. What does a multi-effects pedal do and how does it work? Does it need other equipment other than itself?
  3. If ever a multi effects-pedal is more budget friendly and easy to use than my other option, what multi-effects pedal would you recommend that is within my budget? (I've only heard of MVAVE)

Any response is okay and appreciated! Any other advice is appreciated as well. Thank you!

Gig Songs

Hi! I dont know if this is the right channel to ask but...

I am practically new to the gig scene here in Manila. I can say that im only an average skilled singer/performer. I only started about 8 months ago.

Is it Ok to repeat songs everyweek on my weekly regular resto where i perform? Now I only have about 50 songs on my list where my setlist relies on, i only use about 15 songs per night. I try to add a few new songs on the list when i can. Also when there's a request that i do not know how to play on guitar, i try to study and play it on the next week.

Best budget dynamic mic for vocals in a bedroom?

I plan to record vocals using a microphone in my bedroom, sana rin a mic that isn't too sensitive and sounds warm and rich sa lower frequencies. One din that connects to a computer easily via USB A but others are fine naman with an adapter
