Pansin ko nagiiba na ang trend ng drumming today ah, as with technology. Parang uso na ngayon is yung maglagay ka ng generic lofibeat tapos magshed ka for 1 minute sa insta. May mga drummers na dito nakikilala. And to be fair, ang skill dito is improvisation.
For me, mas naappreciate ko pa din ang drums/drummer sa context ng kanta eh. Dun mo makikita yung dynamics, arrangement, locking in at di pagbangga sa ibang instruments especially the vocals. At saka as a drummer, iba pa din kung may kanta kang mapagmamalaki as sayo eh (parang si Jeff Porcaro, Rosanna or si Vic Mercado sa Hallelujah)

For context, I found a place with guitar lessons that cost P10,800 for 12 sessions and one hour per session. Price is crazy high, to be honest.
What should I look for? Considering price range and expertise, as well as my current stat as a beginner.

I was at the Mateus Asato tour nung July 30 and it was my first and I noticed I was singing and talking way too much when I was recording his performance at stage? Do you guys think sometimes that it is pretty weird for that? I still think that it i wish I was bit more quiet recording so I can reminisce for a bit you know..

Anybody knows Leonardo Apa luthiers? Saw in an FB post that they were located in Lapu Lapu City. I was given an old damaged classical guitar and was wondering about the specs and if the guitar is worth restoring. Model is Luka Liana Josie and no year manufacturing indicated , probably 90s made.

nag-aamag na kasi ata ‘yung current kong gamit na string kasi ang tagal na. balak ko sana palitan kasi ‘yung gf ko nagpapractice sa gitara ko. though for fun lang naman. strumming lang ginagawa ko/niya. not really practicing songs na may plucking (if important info yon). whats better din if this is good?
