so for those of you that know me, you guys know I live in the states and besides having other really great high end gear, I love to use wicked gear and try out all the cool ideas they put out.

Unfortunately for me its going to be awhile before I get to try these out, as a little over a month ago I suffered a serious staph infection that reached my lungs and heart and put me in the hospital nearly a month.

being confined to a bed for that long had the consequence of causing quite alot of muscle death and hurting my lungs has had a huge effect on my endurance. it will be months before I can go back to the boxing gym.

so I kinda make the post to say to my fightgear fam send healing energy my way, if you pray I would appreciate it. I miss the sport so much and healing is so boring, but im focused.

Also while im gone support our boys in oxnard, and post reviews so I know what to check out when I am back.

I used a pro i like on tiktok so now “keyboard experts,” will challenge me about this. when he goes to cut clockwise around his target (the bag but anything/anybody, when your feet are wide you have to stick with a pendulum which is very different and not as mobile. notice the moment hes rounding and brings his feet together and begins to shuffle.

AIRY FOOTWORK IS LIKE KNOWING HOW TO FLY IN A FIST FIGHT! it gives you the ability to make the ring your bitch cause you can get anywhere with basically teleportation compared to normally moving wide-legged and refusing to cross feet.

next up this gives you power to hit on the back foot, the greatest fighters ever could beat your ass on the backfoot and stay at the edge of range making dodging much easier they used these steps.

so watch vids like this, dance in your room— learn it, you will look awkward at first but dont let anyone shame you from doing it because it looks unorthodox. this is one of the oldest, most classic, footwork runs in USA boxing history.
